I am a total nerd when it comes to organization and very picky with my planners. I have tried several different brands, but now that I’ve seen the KITLIFE planners, I have a new love. I love having to-do lists as well as hourly appointment slots and the Weekly Keeping it Together Planner has it both FOR EACH DAY!!! And the quarterly Self-Love section is a great way to remind me to take care of myself too. What more could I ask for? Liz, Jessica, and Jennifer have a perfect little shop right off of Plant Street with everything you need for an organized life (and so much more!)

What makes your business unique/special?
KITLIFE has been on a mission to help women Do More, Be More and Give More with positive and purposeful tools. What makes us unique? Well, simply put we’re advocates of paper planning in the midst of the technical age we’re in.
In what way have you gone above and beyond in the past for a customer?
We listen full-heartedly to our customers/users and each year solicit their feedback to prepare for the versions ahead.
What is the coolest thing you’ve ever had a client do for you?
We had customers travel to see our Winter Garden Boutique for our Grand Opening in August – that was really special! There were some #kitgirls who couldn’t make it, but sent us celebratory gifts to honor the big day.
What tool/equipment/or other vendor could you not imagine doing business without? Why?
We couldn’t imagine doing what we do without our community. Being able to stay connected to the gals that utilize our planner breathes new life into our business every single day.
Tell us about YOU:
We’re lucky enough to be on this adventure as 3 close friends. Jessica, Jenny and I came together 6 years ago with an idea – a tool that would help bridge together all of the things we felt were important. Gratitude, mindfulness, meal planning, time management and – of course – personal development.
What are you passionate about outside of your business?
We are all passionate about wellness and personal development. Outside of our business we all naturally are very driven to be better every day.
Describe your PERFECT day:
Coffee is always a great way to start. A workout with the team. A day at the shop and an evening with our families.
What or who has been your greatest influence in business and why?
We all have mentors we look up to who inspire us! Some include Gretchen Rubin, Marie Forleo, and more!
What one thing have you learned as a small business owner that has served you well over the years?
Just start. If you’re not ready, do it anyways. If it’s not perfect, do it anyways. Waiting for perfect will leave you waiting forever.
What struggles have you faced as a woman running her own business?
Even when you pursue passion – there are bumps along the way. No one is immune to bad days and obstacles in business.
What would you say is your biggest accomplishment as a female entrepreneur?
Every single day women are using a planner that we created – this feels like a huge accomplishment. In addition to that, being published and speaking are also very rewarding experiences for us.
What advice do you have for other women entrepreneurs?
It’ll be worth it. Whether you try and succeed or try and fail – it’ll be worth pursuing your passion.
